Proteco MEL04 – Interface module for connecting and controlling a 12 V electric lock in Proteco gate automation systems.

The Proteco MEL04 is an electronic interface module designed to enable compatible Proteco control boards to operate a 12 V electric lock, adding this function to the automatic gate system.

The module connects directly to a compatible control board through the dedicated connection and can control an electric lock with a maximum power of 15 W.

It is particularly suitable for swing gate automation where an additional mechanical locking point is required when the gate is closed.

Once integrated with the control board, the electric lock can be automatically released as part of the gate opening sequence.

Compatible with Proteco control boards designed to accept the MEL04 module, including Q80A and Q81A.

Electric lock and electronic control board are not included.
